What’s new with MNsure

  • Make sure your contact information is up to date and watch your mail for notice of renewals. Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, renewals and closures have been on hold since March 2020 for Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare, and it is still unknown exactly when they will resume.
  • Is your family coverage expensive?  Starting January 1st, spouses and/or kids might newly qualify for low-cost MinnesotaCare!  If your gross household income is at/below this amount, and you’re paying for family coverage through employer-sponsored insurance, you may qualify for MinnesotaCare:

  • Starting January 1st, spouses and kids currently covered under employer-based family coverage might newly qualify for premium tax credits, making Qualified Health Plans through MNsure an option that saves you money.
  • Open Enrollment for Qualified Health Plans is November 1st 2022 – January 15th 2023.
